[RL WITH RYO]
Feb. 14th, 2010 01:54 amDee woke up with his alarm and stretched an arm out, hitting the snooze button without opening his eyes with the practiced ease of a man that did so every day. He rolled in his bed and stretched his arms over his head, moving to run his hands through his hair, yawning. He lazed in bed for the five minutes his snooze allowed him, then turned the alarm off again, sitting up. Which is when he noticed the string.
"What the hell?" he asked, staring at the piece of red string tied to his finger. He tugged at it, trying to remove it, but it wouldn't budge, almost as if it was attached to him. Which is when he noticed that it stretched out and faded into thin air. "--the fuck?!" he yelled, starting backwards, although obviously there was no running away from it, seeing as how it was attached to him.
After a few moments, Dee's curiosity won over, and he tugged the opposite side of the string. There was obviously some resistance on the other end, but that was impossible. There was nothing attached to it--moreover, the other side of the string didn't even seem to exist. "Shit," Dee said, running his other hand over his face, "I'm losing my friggin' mind." He tugged on the string a few more times, for good measure, to make sure he wasn't dreaming it up. Nope, still there.
((OOC NOTE: Forward dated to the 14th for all of you people in the past, although technically, it's Valentine's Day here, so let's get this party started.))
